Some of my favorite makeup tutorials are from Amy B. of Ask Me Makeup. And though she hasn’t made any new YouTube videos in a year (come back Amy!), her YouTube channel is still very popular. Here are two fabulous looks that I’m sure you will enjoy.

First up, if you love the glamour of old hollywood makeup, this tutorial can’t be missed. Amy uses the following cosmetics in the video and the results are beautiful.
- Mac False Eyelashes
- Lashgrip Glue
- Shiseido Liquid Eyeliner
- Rimmel London Eyeshadow no.241 Matte White
- Napoleon brown eyeshadow
- Lancome Definicils Mascara – black
- Chi Chi Red Lip Liner
- “Mac Red” Lipstick
- Mac Sheertone Shimmer Blush in “Foolish Me”
If you are looking for something a little more tame, check out this “Lemon Eyes” video. It shows you how to wear bright colors in the daytime. Who would have thought lemon yellow eye makeup could be so wearable.
Makeup used in the video includes:
- Mac Studiofix foundation in NC35
- Napoleon concealer in Amber
- Mac Studiofix compact
- Rimmel London matte white eyeshadow
- Mac paints
- Napoleon brown eyeshadow
- Napoleon yellow eyeshadow
- Shiseido inkliner
- Rimmel London Exaggerate khol crayon
- Lancome Definicils Mascara
- Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush in no.10
- Napoleon lip pencil in Sand
- L’Oreal Glam Shine Gloss in Lycee Sorbet

I discovered Amy years ago and she was the first ‘guru’ that i discovered. I was hooked from day one. My youtube beauty community obsession came from her. I really wish she came back..she totally disappeared! She had launched her website too just before she vanished. Would love to see her back.
Also i bought my shiseido eyeliner because of her. Wonderful artist and she put so much effort into her videos with models and music and set up.
She was the essence of what the youtube beauty community should be like.
