Opalescence Teeth Whitening System

Every time you turn around, there’s a new teeth-whitening system out on the market, each one, each brand, claiming to be better than the others.
I’ve tried just about every system out there – from the strips that got spit underneath them and made me drool as the slid around my mouth (which is a gross feeling) to the ones you paint on at night and brush off in the morning, which were actually not bad, but the waiting for the stuff I brushed on to dry was kinda annoying.
Then, I tried Opalescence Treswhite Supreme. The Opalescence trays mold to your teeth, and while I don’t agree with the claim that “you hardly know it’s there”, these thin, soft plastic trays are certainly more comfortable than others I’ve tried.
Opalescence Treswhite Supreme comes in three flavors – mint, melon and peach – and contains 10% hydrogen peroxide for faster results. You wear the trays for 30-60 minutes, once a day and get results in 5-10 days.
The only thing that I’m not a fan of is that you’re supposed to keep the trays in the fridge, and that can be difficult sometimes, but also, cold when you go to use them. I had to let mine sit out for a few minutes before using them so they weren’t uncomfortably cold.
Opalescence Treswhite Supreme is only available through dentists, and the price can vary. The over the counter option, which is what I tried, can cost $75-100; a Customized take home system, for which your dentist takes impressions of your teeth and then creates customized trays for you that you fill at home with a syringe of the whitening gel can cost $250-500; there’s also an in-office option your dentist can administer, for which cost can vary.
To locate a dentist who carried the over the counter kits, visit the Opalescence site or call 866-672-5764.

Treswhite Supreme is the best teeth whitener I’ve tried. AND, did you know that you don’t have to refrigerate the product? It just lasts longer that way. It’s convenient, easy-to-use and effective.
I’ve tried/seen/thought about other products, and you’re right, the goop-slide is a weird feeling with the whitestrips. I think I’ve found a friend with the treswhite, tho. It fits my big teeth, and after a few minutes I forget they’re in my mouth. Plus, they work. I only keep them in my fridge to make them last longer cuz I don’t use all 10 in 10 days. I save some for touch ups. So far, haven’t found anything better.
