OPI Crystal Nail File

I’m a newbie in the mani-pedi world, having derived inspiration from my very vain girlfriends, but when I caught the fever, I immediately shopped ( rather, impulsively ) a complete set of nail care tools. One of my first purchases was the OPI Crystal Nail File.
Believe it or not, I have discovered OPI’s nail file even before I have discovered how utterly superb their nail polishes were!
The benefits presented by the OPI Crystal Nail File piqued my interested to buy it from 8ty8beauty, an e-tailer that my friend Aileen recommended me to do online shopping at. ( I do love online shopping, but sometimes it’s like play money with some clicks that I don’t feel that I just made a big purchase, darn )
Benefits mentioned were,
* The ultimate natural nail file!
* Helps prevent nail chips and splits.
* Long-lasting, gentle abrasive surface .
I have long ago noticed that normal nail files ( and those which were like sandpaper ) did not really file the nails well as there were possibilities of the nails getting chipped because of the abrasiveness. Using this, I feel my nails filed into perfection – no awkward edges, no chips – a clean clean job! I think this would last me for a long long time, as I always bring it along with me whenever I’d have a manicure or pedicure done at a salon, or whenever I’d do my own nails. With the price, I don’t think I want to lose it, even if the price tag is reasonable enough given the quality!
OPI suggest to slightly damp the crystal nail file to obtain maximum results. I encourage everyone to get their own crystal nail files and enjoy the benefits!

Please let me know if the OPI crystal file is double sided, or is the grit just on one side of the file? I can’t find this locally to check it out in person before ordering. Thanks.
