Some days call for very plain, simple jewelry…
And some days call for ornate, elegant and feminine pieces of jewelry!
If you’re having one of those days, I’d like to suggest the richly detailed jewelry from 1ofmykind Jewels. The jewelry designer, Jody McGill uses a combination of antiqued brass filigree, glass, crystal and semi-precious stones – and even some unusual materials like watch parts. The result is very wearable, modern jewelry that feels like it could have been found in your great, great-grandmother’s jewelry chest.

“Filigree Vines – Woodland Nymph Labradorite Necklace” is made with vintage Czechoslovakian molded art glass jewel, wrapped with a vintage tooled filigree lace and woven Art Nouveau vines. On a chain of faceted labradorite rondelles and hand-made hammered bronzed brass O’s.
The elegant bronze “Dragonfly Hoop” earrings feature bronze hoops & dragonflies, wrapped around faceted Chalcedony drops.
The steampunk-inspired “Time Machine” ring is a combination of a vintage watch and bronze filigree accents – complete with the original rubies from the watch!
