Outfit Idea : A Little Mod, Avocado & Plum

One of my favourite combinations to wear during the Fall and Winter is a cute skirt and knee high boots. Whether the skirt is knee length or a flirty mini, it always looks stylish when combined with just the right accessories.

I put together a fun outfit to wear to work or if you’re just meeting up with friends.

Another favourite of mine? Layering! Layering a thin long sleeve tee under the sweater gives it a different vibe than just going with out. Plus, you won’t get cold!

I know, at first glance you might not think the wine coloured bag matches the avocado coloured sweater but they’re not supposed to. They just “go” together according to the colour wheel.    This outfit is an easy way to wear a cute skirt and boots while playing with colour.

I decided silver jewelry looked far better with this look than gold or even black. Technically, you can wear a necklace with this outfit (over the neck of the sweater) but the cowl neckline is pretty ‘busy’ as is, no need to go overboard.

Alternatively, if you’d rather not wear boots, wear a pair of opaque black tights and a pair of black ankle boots for a dressier occasion. And instead of black ankle boots you can play up the wine colour with these really cute Anne Michelle Foxy Platform Pumps ($22.49)

This outfit is definitely something I’d wear out and about, it’s comfortable but still dressed up.
