Outfit Idea : Military Casual Chic

Along with the ultra chic boyfriend blazer trend that’s prevalent for this Fall and Winter, another key wardrobe piece to have is a military inspired blazer. I came across a really cute one at Anthropologie and I thought it would be fun to create an outfit around it.

Forever 21 Attached Striped Scarf Top ($17.80) – This is a cute top that kills two birds with one stone. The oatmeal colour and black go really well together.

American Eagle Artist Jeans ($39.50) – With this look I chose to go with these dark wash jeans because although jeans are casual the dark shade dresses it up a bit.

SixTwentySeven Reville Jacket ($128) – This fabulous military inspired blazer is a perfect example of the trend. I love the brass buttons on the front as well as the charcoal grey and distressed look.

Forever 21 Basket Ankle Boot ($25.80) – Ankle boots are another great trend to pair with this outfit and these are sexy and not too wild.

La Mer Chain Wrap Watch ($110) – This cool black leather and chains wrap watch gives the look an edgy vibe.

Rebecca Minkoff Morning After Bag ($595) – Violet is another fall trend and this beautiful shade of violet is a wonderful pop of colour

You can pair colourful accessories, like red or maybe a pretty green, with this look as the colour palette is monochromatic. Another accessory you can add to this outfit is a pair of earrings. I wouldn’t wear a necklace (unless it’s very simple) with this look as the scarf is attached and it would compete with it. Another handbag colour you can use is a  winter white handbag or even a chic and colourful clutch.
