Patrick Dempsey’s new cologne for Avon

I just made an order at Avon.com, and now I guess I’ll have to order again! People Magazine reports that Dempsey (wife of Jillian Dempsey, who has really done wonders with her Avon makeup releases) writes:
“I remember wearing my first cologne, and it was Polo by Ralph Lauren – and I put the entire bottle on my body,” the Grey’s Anatomy star, 42, said Monday at Avon’s launch party in New York City to unveil the Patrick Dempsey Unscripted cologne due out in November.
“I was one of those young men that thought more is better,” he says, “and everybody looked at me and thought that I was a freak because I smelled so strong of cologne.”
I think this might be a first – the husband of a makeup artist gets in on the act and has his own cologne!
“I remember wearing my first cologne, and it was Polo by Ralph Lauren – and I put the entire bottle on my body” That is classic, and I honestly think that many young men start out with that one.
My son got it in a gift bag earlier this year at a sweet sixteen party (can you imagine) and I swear that he bathed in it for days!
I have a special place in my heart for boys who wear Polo. It’s a perfectly fine scent – just not to wear head to toe.
