Perfume of the Day: Gap So Pink

Perfumes sold at popular clothing stores like Gap, Old Navy, and American Eagle are often a young woman’s first foray into fragrance.  As such, this scent like many others is designed to be fresh, wearable, and youthful.  So Pink meets all of these marks but is otherwise fairly bland.  It starts out smelling like nothing other than pink lemonade, and does morph into an interesting grapefruit and rose combination.  The notes listed on Gap’s website are grapefruit, lily, and sweet pea, but I really do get rose instead.  I do prefer it to scents sold at other retail stores like Victoria’s Secret.  It’s quite inexpensive at $22 for 3.4 oz.  Purchase it at Gap.com.

I love this perfume. I have found that all the expensive perfumes I’ve tried and bought were a waste of money. On me expensive scents always change and become that really strong cheap perfume scent. But gap so pink, smells fresh and clean all day, it’s doesn’t turn at all. I’ve gotten so many compliments.

I wish I knew which ingredient in the expensive ones are reacting to my chemistry, so I could search for other perfumes to wear.
