Perfume of the Day: Jo Malone Lotus Blossom and Water Lily

One of the newest perfumes from Jo Malone (of the famous Orange Blossom perfume) is a new scent perfect for summer: Lotus Blossom and Water Lily. According to the site it was “created as a modern interpretation of Kohdo, an ancient Japanese ceremony, vibrant Lotus Blossom & Water Lily is designed to awaken the senses and energise the soul.”
It is light and refreshing, but unlike many summery sniffs, not lacking in complexity, and it lasts a decent amount of time on the skin. I love to dab on just a bit and imagine I’m an Egyptian princess, floating down the Nile without a care in the world.
The scent is limited edition, so find it soon and purchase it if you love it. I do love the aloeswood notes on my skin but not enough to purchase. Saks Fifth Avenue is probably the best place to start your search.
