Perfume of the Day: Michael Kors Island

Even though I’m a Libra, I love the water scents. When I spritz on this scent, I immediately picture a dense, tropical island like on the TV show “Lost”. You can immediately tell this is a drugstore scent and not a niche fragrance: it develops more like a polaroid, the picture is quickly visible. I get a lot of white flowers and honeysuckle after the initial tropical blast of green. There’s not much going on in the base, the “white bark accord” smells faintly of white pepper, and the driftwood has yet to wash up on my shore. I can’t particularly recommend this but if you like Marc Jacobs original tuberose scent, or Kenzo Flower, it might be worth a sample next time you’re breezing through Macy’s on the way to the shoe department.

Notes:
Kauai Waterfalls, Oxygenated Water, Chinese Kiwi, Hydroponic Honeysuckle, Parrot Tulip, Champaca Flowers, Ginger Lilies, Bulgarian Rose, Stephanotis, White Bark Accord, Galapagos Driftwood.
Style:
Sparkling. Lush. Radiant.
