Pixi Beauty Shadows and Palette

I don’t know about you but I have a soft spot for make up lines with cute packaging. Pixi Beauty is one of those lines and while their packaging is simple, it has a sort of vintage feel. Another plus about the line is it’s available at Target stores and everything is reasonably priced.

One of my favourites are their Fairy Light Solos ($14) which are mineral eye shadows. How adorable is the embossed fairy? There are a few different fairy designs and they’re almost too cute to use.  The eye shadows are nicely pigmented and come in the following shades:

French Lace – a nude skin tone shade, perfect to use all over the lid
Champagne Glow – a pretty peachy gold with shimmer
Nude Nouveaux – a light brownish nude
Fairy Pink – a pinky gold with holographic shimmer
Boho Bronze – a bronze metallic

Each of these shadows have a fun holographic shimmer. They go on smoothly and are 100% natural.

Another set I really like is the Pixi Beauty Wake Up Kit ($34)

This kit was create to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Pixi Beauty. It includes limited edition as well as their best selling and must-have colours. There are 18 eye shadows, 2 concealers/eye primers, 8 lip glosses and 2 baked cheek powder duos. A great thing about this kit is all the shades a neutral toned which will flatter most complexions.  I think this palette would be a wonderful go-to kit to use during the Spring and Summer months.
