I have a 6 year old daughter and we were thinking about getting a dog. If the dog lives to be 15 then I will have the dog until my daughter is 21 and in college. So if now is the right time, what dogs are best for large apartment living? We want a big “fella” that doesn’t shed or have “jowl juice” to make mommy crazy. Does a golden-doodle sound like a good option? Is there anything special to consider about this type of dog that anyone would like to share? We are really falling in love with the lovable, human nature and soft hair/fur of this type of dog. Plus, their hair/fur matches my carpet!
