Prada Wavy Temple Sunglasses

Prada has produced two unique must-have sunglasses designs this summer:  the  Prada Butterfly Sunglasses and the Wavy Temple Sunglasses.  Both of these designs take the vintage oversized Jackie-O inspired acetate frame and infuse it with a creative little twist to create a stunning and recognizable shape that is sure to become iconic.  I absolutely love both of these styles and applaud the creativity to create a sunglasses design that is so classic, yet subtely unique.

Prada Wavy Temple Sunglasses $245

From the front these sunglasses have a classic vintage look with thick acetate frames and oversized round lenses.  The side of the frame reveals a unique wavy temple detail with a silver stripe.  My favorite pair has a thin purple rim inside the black frames and violet gradient lenses.

Prada Butterfly Sunglasses $245

I gushed over these sunglasses back in April when I first spotted them on every celebrity in LA, but I couldn’t resist an opportunity to mention them again paired with the Wavy Temple Sunglasses.  Prada took the classic oversized acetate black sunglasses and made a tiny wiggle in the side of the lens to create a beautiful butterfly-inspired design.

Again, how creative, subtle, unique, and successful.  I must have these.  Oh to be a Prada designer…
