Product Review and Giveaway: butter LONDON Nail Lacquer

This week I tried butter LONDON’s 3 Free nail lacquer.
Their polishes contain no Formaldehyde, no Toluene, and no DBP. My girls and I tried three colors: Chancer, Saucy Jack, and La Moss.
La Moss is the color that Amy Adams is wearing on her recent Vanity Fair cover. It’s a rich and sexy shade, looks great for Amy Adams’s pin-up type covershot. I’ve got it on my toes. It’s very dark in the bottle, but is a nice deep wine color when it’s applied. Saucy Jack is a pink-red and Chancer is a bright with glitter. Bay, my teen, likes to do a glitter french tip nail. The Chancer looks very festive for the holidays and the glitter is much smoother than most glitter lacquers I’ve tried.
It dries fast, seems faster than other brands. When I did my toes, I had to put my socks and shoes on right away, because I had to go to work (I work part time as a school aide). I took my shoes off after work (I’m happier barefoot) and my nails were fine. Phew!
We’ve been wearing butter LONDON 3 Free for three days and there are no chips. This is some great polish. I highly recommend it.
butter LONDON has given me a Cuticle Miracle Kit and one red polish to giveaway. Yay!
If you would like to enter, please visit the butter LONDON site, and leave me a comment telling me who is wearing at crown at the top of their home page. I’ll get back to you with a random winner early next week.
Good luck!!

The bird (raven?) on the page is wearing the crown
This stuff sounds great. I’m already a fan of China Glaze and Nubar and Finger Paints
We don’t have them here in HNL, but that looks like a raven wearing the crown. Mahalo for the contest!
It’s a female raven named Branwen. She apparently belongs to the Queen of England and lives in the Tower of London
Wow, Katherine, I am impressed. I didn’t know about Branwen. I was just looking for “bird” so you ladies are doing great.
Good luck!
Ahh yes, the Queen’s raven Branwen. I knew that! LOL Consider me entered. I’ve had to forego my bi-monthly manicures because of personal budget cutting, so this would be a wonderful thing to have!
the Queen’s raven Branwen
Looks like a raven to me…thanks for the contest!
Looks like a raven! Thanks for the giveaway!
I am going to guess that it’s a Raven. That sounds a little more classy than a crow or a blackbird? Thanks, great items!
That is Branwen, a female raven belonging to the Queen of England. She currently resides at the Tower of London.
Thanks for the giveaway!
the raven is wearing the crown but it could also be a crow, they look the same .I looking for a new fragrance .maybe you can give me a idea or to.
Raven?
A bird. Thank you!
yep, raven.
merry xmas!!
Thank you for commenting everybody. Raven, crow, bird – they all work. Bonus points for Branwen. ;D
Loretta, I’ve had the lucky opportunity to try a lot of new fragrances lately. My favorites have been LOOK by Vera Wang, Fancy by Jessica Simpson (I’m reviewing it this weekend), and my very favorite was KenzoAmour. I have reviews for both LOOK and KenzoAmour on this blog, so go ahead and take a lot if you are looking for a description of the fragrance notes. I find that I’m really drawn to the scents with Amber, musk, sandalwood, and vanilla right now. They have this warmth to them that really goes well with the Winter weather.
It looks like a Raven.

Branwen!
Michelle have you tried that new Estee Lauder by Eerin Lauder? I know eerin is spelled funny but I don’t know how. I think it is called Amber. I want to test it but I don’t mall.
I can’t help but to quote Edgar Allen Poe
“Much I marvelled this ungainly fowl to hear discourse so plainly,
Though its answer little meaning – little relevancy bore;
For we cannot help agreeing that no living human being
Ever yet was blessed with seeing bird above his chamber door -
Bird or beast above the sculptured bust above his chamber door,
With such name as `Nevermore.’
But the raven, sitting lonely on the placid bust, spoke only,
That one word, as if his soul in that one word he did outpour.
Nothing further then he uttered – not a feather then he fluttered -
Till I scarcely more than muttered `Other friends have flown before -
On the morrow he will leave me, as my hopes have flown before.’
Then the bird said, `Nevermore.’ “
Thanks for the Poe, Karissa. I think I’m going to read that with my daughter this weekend.
No, I have not tried that scent, but I’m writing it down right now. I will look for it and see if I can do a review.
Okay, I just looked up the Estee Lauder Private Collection Ylang Ylang. That’s what you were talking about right? It’s an Amber Oriental – has many of my favorite notes in it cinnamon, amber, sandalwood, vanilla. I’m very interested in finding it now. Thanks for the idea. I’ll look for it next time I’m at the mall (scary place this time of year).
Looks like a crow or blackbird to me. Thought ravens had longer beaks. Oh well.
I am so happy to find butter. I have been looking for 3 Free polishes for my daughter. I’ll buy even if I don’t win. Thank you!!!
OH BOY
raven, Branwen
the raven is.
It’s the raven, Branwen.
A black bird, evidently it’s a raven? Hahah everyone is so smart on this forum! Anyways, thanks for the great contest!
A raven named Branwen
The Queen’s raven
Its a bird and from reading all the comments after I look at the website–I see that people researched it. Wow.
