Product Review: Elgydium Toothpaste and Toothbrushes

My daughter, Bailey, is fascinated by anything that has to do with France. She dreams of moving to Paris one day, so image how excited she was when she found out that we were going to try out a French product that is now available in the US.  French toothpaste and toothbrushes from Elgydium. Oo, la, la.

Elgydium has been the leading toothpaste in France for more than 30 years.  The Whitening toothpaste uses a Micro-Pulverized Sodium Bicarbonate that whitens more effectively than the usual Sodium Bicarbonate.  It’s five times finer and polishes gently.  The Anti-Cavity toothpaste uses an extra-high grade of fluoride. It exceeds all FDA requirements for cavity protection. 

My family used both of these toothpastes. I’ve noticed that the texture of the paste is fine and not gritty. It has a pleasant taste and my teeth feel very smooth. My kids used the Anti-Cavity paste and they say, “It tastes fine, Mom.” 

They didn’t have a lot to say about the toothbrushes either, but unless there are coins popping out the end of the brush, a kid really is not going to get very excited about dental care.  I brush my son’s teeth, he’s disabled,  and I liked that the handle is very flexible. It made it easier to get his back teeth. I noticed that the brush head felt smaller, which made it easier to maneuver when brushing my back teeth.  The brushes are more angled than traditional brushes. I thought that they worked great and I will be replacing mine with another Elgypidium toothbrush when I’m done.
