Puppet or Handbag?

I’m really not quite sure what to think about these handbags from Milan Fashion Week…
On one hand I could think “oh, it’s fun and whimsical”. But on the other hand, I could ask Alberta Ferretti if she was designing luxury accessories or the latest puppet to appear on a kid’s tv show?

Fendi has gone less “Muppet” and more real with their fur-lined handbag:

It still makes me wonder what my reaction would be when I reach into my purse and grab a handful of fur when I want my wallet…
So ladies, what’s your take? Are fur purses a genius design move or best left in the design studio?
