Review: Beau Bain Bath Bombs

I absolutely adore a deep bathtub and a warm bath. There’s very few other places I can completely relax and unwind like a bubble bath.
When I first heard about Beau Bain, I was intrigued by the scent descriptions – a delicious concoction of fresh-squeezed blood orange juice and ripe tangerines; gentle notes of bamboo, lemongrass and musk; the rosemary scent is laden with notes of mint, wood, and honey; crisp spearmint and zesty eucalyptus are undercut by familiar lavender and aromatic citrus peels.

Beau Bain Bath Bombs Bubble bath.
It was enough to make me set aside my typical Lush bubble bath bars and pick up a Beau Bain Bath Bomb instead.
The name, translated, means Beautiful Bath in French and is the culmination of a global collaboration of friends and family with a shared passion for the finer things in life – taking time for ourselves, luxurious scents and essential oils and fine skin care.
The bath bombs are hand made in Portland, OR, with fine ingredients from all over the world. The other products available from Beau Bain, which includes Body Cremes and Scrubs, are sourced and designed from family-owned perfumeries, mills, workshops and ateliers from as far away as France, Italy, Spain and Turkey, and as close by as Seattle and Portland. All of the products and ingredients are hand selected so that the end product is as perfect as it can be.
The Beau Bain Bath Bombs smell phenomenal, even through the packaging, and fizz delightfully about the bath tub filling my bathroom with the scent of fresh peaches. The water itself felt soft and silky, leaving my skin feeling moisturized, and as soft and silky as the water was.
The next time you’re looking for something that smells good for your bathtub, do some snooping around the Beau Bain site and see what strikes your fancy. These will run you about $8 a piece, but you get free shipping on orders over $75.
