Satin & Swarovski Wedges by Aruna Seth

I used to be really dismissive towards Swarovski-encrusted items. Until this winter, when I visited the Swarovski store in Rockefeller Center, and saw all the crazy, ornate, and fabulous things that can be made out of the famous Austrian crystals. So, forget every gaudy crystal encrusted cell phone you’ve seen some socialite bimbo carrying, and try to look at these shoes with fresh eyes.

Bling bang boom. Wow. These are some serious bridal shoes. And while I am not always a fan of the heavily adorned, I think that these Aruna Seth Cerise wedges are elegant and sculptural. And a wedge, which makes all those hours in the reception line seem a little more do-able for a lot of women. Notice how even the inside of the bows are lined with Swarovski rhinestones! If the ivory sation doesn’t suit your taste, there’s plenty in the Cerise line, including a pair in snakeskin!
