Savannah Bee Honey Hand Soap

Honey, and bees, just amaze me. Sure, honey is really something like bee vomit, but the smell, the golden color, and the way it’s, um, distilled, by bees from millions of flowers is really kind of neat. And Savannah Bee Company takes the fresh honey and beeswax they harvest to create simple luxuries for your bath.

I saw this line at Bath and Body Works about a year ago. It was much more expensive than their regular products, however, I had a coupon for a free product with purchase so I decided to try it out. I was enchanted with the blackberry honey hand soap – it has such a fresh, sweet scent, but isn’t candylike. In fact, it’s very sophisticated and fresh.

The bottle is also quite cute and doesn’t take up much space on my tiny 1920’s art deco sink. This product lasted a good 9 months, even with almost daily use. I’ve since finished it but refilled the bottle with another hand soap because it’s so convenient for the space it’s used in.

The other products in this line are also quite nice – the mint julep lotion should appeal to any true Southerner, and I also like the lip balms in tins.
