Sea Glass Jewelry

I spent many happy hours as a child, walking along the riverbank next to my house – collecting sea glass (or maybe it should be called “river glass”?).
Maybe those fond memories are why I like this sterling silver jewelry so much? It’s made from real sea glass, collected on beaches. Glass can spend years being tumbled around in the ocean before it finally washes to shore – and if it’s really lucky, it gets made into this:

That’s the “Nautilus” necklace, made from a sterling silver shell charm, sea glass and suspended on a silver chain.
East Coast Sea Glass collects the sea glass and then creates all their unique jewelry in the USA. They also create jewelry with pearls and custom-made designs.

We have much in common! An old beach bum myself turned sea glass artisan years ago.
I wish you much success on your sea glass journey.

I am thinking I wish I was out collecting sea glass this moment!! Unfortunately the Florida Keys just don’t have any worthy sea glass. Ahhh but soon I will be back in our home sailing in Greece where I have hit the “mother load”, my hands will shake as we get close to the spot, and I will spend hours and hours on my knees collecting…does it get any better?
Life is good…….
