With the sea of pink everywhere right now, it can be easy to forget that there are other good causes out there that need to be supported too.
Vera Bradley hasn’t forgotten though…
They’ve pledged $10,000 to support The Hunger Project, a non-profit organization that is working to end hunger and poverty all over the world, including Africa, Latin American and South Asia. The Hunger Project works by empowering men and women to change their own lives by projects like micro-finance, which allows people to start their own businesses.
How is Vera Bradley raising the funds?
By the sale of this very cute, limited edition “Market Totes“:
The market totes are reusable fabric shopping bags, which sell for $18 per pair. The totes come in two colors, “Symphony In Hue” and “Blue Rhapsody”.
