I saw this post by another craaazy handbag lover and thought it was hilarious! But it did start me thinking about my health and the direct correlation to my handbag. I never considered that it could cause me problems in the long run. But I look so cute with it on!

My handbag, especially the really big ones, hold everything in them that I need. And I do mean everything. Without my bag, I would be lost. That’s why I like them so big. You are apt to find me on any day digging out my MAC makeup and X-men, all simultaneously. Shoot, when my daughter wants gum, she just goes purse-diving until she strikes bubble-licious!
At any rate, my purse with contents weighs about 15 pounds or so. No joke! But I need everything in it. Everything. So in the spirit of fave lists, here are the contents of my designer handbag. Today’s flavor? Coach. Here goes:
2 wallets (one for credit cards and money; the other for coupons and loose change)
A small pocket Bible
Makeup bag (MAC, of course; foundation, lipstick, blush, eyeliner, lipliner and brushes)
Cell Phone
Sharpie Pen (you know, to label the kid’s drinks when we go out to eat. Doesn’t everybody have one?)
Hair Clips (to hold back the lovely strands while I’m driving)
Large hair brush (the hair thing again)
Two small boxes of tissues
Coccoa Butter stick (you never know when you’ll need coccoa butter)
Bottled Water
2 containers of lotion
Business Card holder (always ready to network!)
Eyeglasses and Case
Food Log Diary (I write down everything I eat, no matter what and where I am. 20 lbs. to go…)

Mine is soooo full, it’s making my shoulders ache. I’m going to learn how to go SMALL for the summer. Not sure that I will be able to pull it off after seeing all the stuff that I normally carry, but I’m going to give it a shot. And, I carry a lot of the items in your photo! You look very organized to me.
Adiel, I think you have me beat! But I have to wonder…what is up with the retractable iPod USB cable? Why do you carry that around? Just curious.
SP, the shoulder ache may mean it’s time for some medical help. Or, you could get a roll-y thing-y and still stay fashionable. It’s ALL about a look, right?
The USB cord for my iPod is because I use it to listen to music on my computer at work. Its better than listening to the radio.
Oooohhhh, I see Adiel. I thought maybe you were a techno-savvy person and used it for work stuff maybe. Is it big and bulky? Or do you have a special compartment for it in your purse?
I just put it in one of the side pockets. Its really quite small.

Let’s just say my wallet itself weights about half a pound; my reading glasses with case and sunglasses with case are another half pound, plus my on-the-go make-bag ain’t light either.
And that’s just the beginning…
