Smashbox Untamed Summer 2009 Collection

Hopefully you’re ready for a seasonal makeup collection that’s bursting with glamazon hues and sultry shades of summer. If so, then the Smashbox Untamed Summer 2009 Collection should be right up your alley.
The colors are earthy and natural, but with pops of bold color added to items like the Untamed Waterproof Eyeshadow Trios ($29/each). Savage has the dark forest green color and Exotic includes a pretty dark purple. Each color is completely waterproof, but totally blendable for all day wear.
Then there is the Double-Ended Brightener ($22/each), formulated with vitamins C & E to boost your skin while it’s brightening your look. From the site:
Use one end to brighten the inner corners of eyes and the other to highlight brow bones, bridge of nose, over brows and on the cupid’s bow.
And they also have a couple of new Untamed Lip Gloss colors ($18/each). I personally prefer the deeper terracotta colored Raw than the lighter nude Flesh.
For versatile makeup that easily goes from day to night, there are some excellent color choices in the Smashbox Untamed Collection. Who knows if it will be available later in the year, so you better pick up yours fast!
