Something Blue by Mary Green

We all know the old rhyme about having that little something blue in your wedding wardrobe. No one knows exactly what the color symbolizes, but blue has been connected to weddings for centuries. In ancient Rome, brides wore blue to symbolize love, modesty, and fidelity, and blue remained the most popular color for wedding gowns up until the late 19th century. Well, white has long since surpassed blue in popularity (at least in the US), as far as gowns go, but most of us still cling to that little blue something. Well, here’s something blue that will cling right to you.
