Sporty and Affordable Carrera Sunglasses

I was shopping for sunglasses at a Nordstrom today, and I discovered sports eyewear brand Carrera.  If, like me, you are familiar with famous runway designers but not so familiar with sports eyewear or snow ski racing equipment, then it’s quite possible that you’ve never encountered this great brand before.  I was excited to see a quality sports eyewear company break into the fashion market.  Carrera was established in 1965 and is known for creating technologically advanced sports eyewear, ski helmets, and ski goggles for men and women.  If you are interested in high quality sunglasses that are also stylish and affordable, this is a great brand for you to discover.

It’s easy to see why these functional sports eyewear sunglasses are now being sold in high end department stores…they look really great!  Most of the sunglasses in the “Everyday” line are similar to the aviator, but each style has slight variations.  I love the unisex quality of their designs…I can see all of them looking equally great on both men and women.

My favorite style that I tried on is the super cool, comfortable, and affordable “Jocker” style.  These plastic frames with a thick bridge come in black with white or brown with gold.  They look amazing and the best part is that they cost less thatn $100!  The Carrera Jocker sunglasses are available for $98.90 online at Nordstrom.  The affordability makes them next on my list to purchase…
