Stella McCartney dressed several high profile celebs at the The Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit Celebrating The Model as a Muse Event last evening. All three ladies, Kate Hudson, Kate Bosworth, and Liv Tyler wore stunning body hugging dresses that any fashionista would covet.

I love her designs because she is almost boho chic, but not quite. The still have that touch of elegance that make them perfect for events such as the Met’s Costume Ball on May 4, 2009. That extra something is that thing that makes me want to wear her to work and out for drinks.
If you love the designs of Stella McCartney, then you’ll be stoked to find out about her partnership with Net-A-Porter.com. McCartney is debuting four short films, each about a minute long in length debuting her Summer 2009 Capsule collections. Each short film will showcase small pieces of the collection. With each small film, a larger portion of the collection will debut on the website…so it’s almost painful not to know what’s in store!
The Magnolia collection included this fabulous long black silk jumpsuit that looks like something you would have seen on the Red Carpet at the Costume Ball. It is $2,245 and has a ruched bodice with a self-tied drawstring waist. Put with the perfect accessories, you’ll be the belle of your own ball.
