A lucky couple, Colette Colin and Lee Clark, in Surrey, England, recently had their wedding at the stunning Buckatree Hall in Shropshire. The won their wedding for only £51 (about $100) on eBay!
The couple had previously looked at the Buckatree for their venue, but couldn’t afford the £1000 pricetag. But, lucky for them, the Buckatree put the wedding up for bidding after another couple cancelled.
Whoa, that sure doesn’t look like a budget shindig! It just goes to show that keeping your options open about where you do your wedding shopping can lead to some major price breaks. Keep eBay in mind, Brides!

What a lucky couple! It looks like they had a spectacular wedding – definitely not budget style. I think that ebay bidding was an excellent idea and hopefully more venues will follow in their footsteps. It creates a wonderful opportunity – and creates some hype for the venue – so both parties win! win-win!
