the beauty of belts

I’m a little late with jumping on the decorative belt bandwagon.  For years I avoided wearing a decorative belt on top of my shirts – thinking that it would make my waist look larger…  I finally tried some different styles out and love them – they actually accentuate my curves, instead of making me look bulky (as I had feared).  Now that I’ve realized what belts can do – I’ve got some decisions to make!

Do I go with a classic leather belt, like the faux-croc belt in cognac leather from Calvin Klein:

Or do I go bold & decorative, with this jeweled turquoise belt from Kenneth Jay Lane?

But I love the punched leather edging on this belt from Linea Pelle – it reminds me of eyelet lace:

And the color of this robin’s egg belt from Lambertson Truex is lovely…

Too many choices… and too small a budget :-)
