The First Perms

Here’s a little trivia for you.  The first perms made their appearance during the 1920s and everyone was quite excited. Short hair had been extremely popular, but women were getting a little bored with the same look. I imagine that they looked something like this and if I remember correctly, I am pretty sure that women were often electocuted until they got all the kinks worked out.  All in the name of beauty.
