To Cut or Not to Cut, That is the Question

My hair is about shoulder length, very thick, and full of natural curls and waves.  It’s the kind of mop that hair stylists run their hands through and ooh and ahh over how great it is.  It’s also the kind of hair that will be dry and brittle if I don’t take care of it.  That means not washing it every day and laying off the electric hair appliances.
