Tricolor Knit Dress in Black, White, and Turquoise

The color block trend has inspired some pretty designs, but sometimes designers get it wrong.  Like when they mix together colors that have no business being mixed together.  I’m all for experimenting and creating something new, but at the same time, I don’t want to wear someone’s ugly, failed experiment.  Know what I’m saying?

They got it right with this sexy, tricolor dress in basic black and white with turquoise to accent the waist.  In addition, the ruching at the waist, the A-line skirt, and all the elements of this dress work together in harmony to create a cohesive and beautiful piece.  Very nice.

You can pick this up at Boston Proper which ships worldwide (orders from outside of the United States, however, will need to be placed by phone, fax, or mail and not via the website).  See their sale page, too.

If you were designing a color block dress, which colors would you make it?
