I got an e-mail from Stephen over at 66degrees. He let me know that one of their many limited edition designs was a hangbag, made of Tyvek.
They’re made in a women’s prison in Portugal (I’m hoping they get some of the proceeds). The inmates do get skills and the opportunity to earn a living outside of prison. The design is made by Krv Kurva and is the trademark design of the line. It’s shaped like a teardrop and definitely a different silhouette than you usually see.
The images you see on it are from Sarah Parris, and it’s a interpretation of the New York City skyline.
It’s unique and because it’s made out of Tyvek, it’s waterproof. Perfect for summer rains.
