Ultra Minimal Modish Linen Dress

I love living in a place where you can basically wear linen all year round, and I’ve always really thought that the way the fabric wrinkles adds character to your clothes, rather than detracting from them. Even if you go totally Martha at the sight of wrinkles, you have to admit that the easy breezy nature of linen goes perfectly with summer barbecues and iced tea.
This minimal linen dress by Pamela Tang is so simple it looks like it’s been cut from paper, which I love. There’s certainly nothing overdone or fussy about this summer frock, just a few sweet details, like a long center pleat in front and band in back, to make it interesting. The neckline is hand embroidered, and each one is different, so you can rest assured that no other girl on the scene is gonna be rocking the same frock as you. Available for $112 from Pamela Tang.

I love this dress. It’s so clean and would look fantastic with a pair of bright and flat gladiator sandals.
