Valentino and his Indian Scarf

Valentino has been all over the place recently. He has a documentary available out on DVD (as I hope you fashionistas are aware of!) called Valentino: The Last Emperor which “documents” the life of the legendary designer.  Stars big and small were out at the DVD release party a few weeks ago.

However, I don’t know if I would be able to be seen with Mr. Valentino with this scarf around his neck today. Purple and gold was a good color combination as a middle school athlete. I had to wear it to my volleyball and basketball games but, as an A-list celebrity fashion designer this look is a bit questionable.

I do not doubt that this scarf is amazing, pricey, and luxurious…but the almost Indian look paired with an almost business casual suit just is not a good look.  But, then again, he is Valentino and he can do almost anything. Maybe I should just be quiet.
