Vampy Velvet Shoes for Fall

Yesterday I talked about the upcoming Fall trend of lush velvet blazers. While they’re all quite fabulous and luxurious, some of you may not want to go all out with the velvet trend. Maybe you’d rather do a little dabbling instead? There’s an easy way to incorporate the velvet trend into your Fall wardrobe and gift ideas, and that’s with vampy velvet shoes!
Aren’t they to die for? These ridiculously scrumptious velvet shoes are truly one of those investment worthy pieces. Let’s discuss each one, shall we?
The Christian Louboutin Lima Buckled Velvet Sandal ($1145) is definitely the one I would choose. It incorporates the prevailing ‘gladiator’ trend but it doesn’t overwhelm it so it’s only wearable once. It’s available in rich Burgundy or Marron (gold), classic shades to accent or work as a contrast for any chic ensemble.
Next up is another opulent Christian Louboutin selection. The Lady Page Velvet Bow Pump ($995) shown here in a deep Prune shade (also available in black), are equal parts sassy and sophisticated. These are the shoes to buy if you don’t want to go all out with the velvet trend.
Lastly, we have the Lanvin Velvet Platform Pump ($1045). These are the shoes to get if you want to add drama to your outfit. The platform, the gros grain bow and peep toe are definitely dramatic and sexy.
Love them? Want to give them to someone you love? These shoes can be purchased through Bergdorf Goodman and other select boutiques and department stores near you.
