Vera Wang Launches Maid to Order Collection

Vera Wang, as I have said in the past, is the first name in wedding wear. Not that you need me to tell you that. You only have to see the commercials for movies like “Bride Wars” to know that it’s true, with catchphrases like, “You don’t alter Vera, you alter yourself to fit Vera.” Well, Vera Wang has finally expanded her collection to include bridesmaid’s dresses, much to the joy of women everywhere.
The collection is extremely diverse. There are totally fun shiny party dresses like this one. It’s available in a variety of colors, but I really love the contrast of the pale blush pink with the black sash belt.
And then there are sleek and sophisticated black tie classics like this one. I adore the high round neck and the gorgeous column skirt.
One of my favorites is this very sculptural twist halter top dress. Because of the way the halter is shaped, it will be beautiful on a variety of figures. It provides a little more coverage than your average halter, so it will even work for top heavy women.
And for pleasing a whole gaggle of attendents, you really can’t do better than this a-line number with the high pleated neckline.
This collection is so ecelctic and refined that brides are really going to have a hard time avoiding it. But, there’s really no reason to, since all the dresses in the collection fall between $250 and $300 in a variety of colors to suit any wedding scheme. Available from Vera Wang Weddings.
