verdict’s in: built by wendy dress

One of my wonderful reader’s got the Built By Wendy dress above that I was so enamored with. (remember?)

Marie says the following about it:

Ok the results are in… I was so excited to love this, but it’s a no-go. I’m not a big girl (size 2), and this dress really made me look WIDE. I think in order for it to look good you have to stand exactly like that picture, haha. I’m returning it, so sad! But a fun experiment.

I’m a little disappointed that it would be all icky like that, but I suppose designers don’t always make dresses for “real” people.

I love gathers, but there are so many ways they can go wrong…
