Who Cuts Your Hair??
Most of us aren’t lucky enough to have a hairstylist in the family. I guess that I’m one of the lucky ones, but then again, I have to wait until he comes to dinner to get a trim. It’s sort of a trade off. We feed him, he cuts our hair. But here’s today’s question. Have you ever let someone else (other than a professional cut your hair? And if so, we want stories lol.
I for one, needed my split ends cut off and thought… just how much damage could my husband do?? (This was before Jamie became a stylist) Well, apparently a lot. My hair was so lop-sided (that is a word isn’t it??) that I had to quickly book myself into the salon up the street to fix it. I don’t think I have ever been so embarrassed. On the other hand, it has made for a great story down through the years.
Now, it’s your turn. Have you ever allowed someone other than a stylist get close to you with a pair of scissors??

My mom cut my hair as a child, then a family friend carried me through my teen years. As an adult, I’ve found a great stylist at a great salon and he is the only one that goes near my hair with scissors or color.
My mom used to give me some seriously scary (from the photos) bang trims.
Now, I cut my own hair. I used to be a hairdresser, back in the day. It’s tricky, but my hair is on the long and layered side, so it’s easy to hide any imperfections.
I was the one who cut other people’s hair before I was a hairdresser. I have no idea why they trusted me, but they always ended up looking okay.
