As a juicy bonus from Twisted Silver – they’ve provided one of these lovely “Trinket” necklaces as a Her Accessories contest prize!

The contest is only open to readers living in the continental USA.
To enter, just leave a brief comment on this post explaining why you deserve to win this necklace, retailing at $110
The contest runs from now until November 19th.

I deserve it coz I’m the first one who’s commented..LOL. kidding aside, I’ll rock it this fall
I deserve this because I worked my bum off in school and I just graduated from college! I would wear it to my new grown-up job.
I deserve it because I work very hard at a job I don’t like so I have the fundage to support blogging!
I love this necklace in every way and have just started rocking the gold jewelry and it would get lots and lots of wear from me!
Can’t wait to see who wins though, it’s a gorgeous piece! Whoever wins has to promise to submit a pic wearing it!
I deserve it because I’m a stay-at-home mom who works her butt off taking good care of my three children. I deserve a new necklace since being a mommy is a job that doesn’t pay in cash or jewelry. I’d see it as a lovely bonus.
Thanks a million!
I would love to win this because I’m an unpaid blogger, but I think Casie (above) deserves it!
I deserve to win because i luv long necklaces for the elongating affects they have- i need all the bits i can get because i’m only 4′11″!
I am taking a metals and jewelry-making class in college right now, and I’ve found a new appreciation for the art of jewelry. I love the necklace because of its creativity and uniqueness!
Because I have NEVER owned anything like this before! WoW!!!
That necklace is so cool! I have three year old triplets, so needless to say, few pieces of my clothing or jewelry survived the infant/toddler years intact. Now that they’re older, I can wear jewelry again, but naturally, now I can’t afford new jewelry! Life is so ironic that way.
Pick me! Pick me!
I love it!
Mama SO deserves that necklace! Why? She’s the Mama!
It’s more like my like my wardrobe deserves it. I have plain, classic clothes that are screaming for a a focal point and an update. I need a style kick in the pants. I’ll send you before and after pics if I win.
I deserve to win it because I’d give it to my mother, who loves jewelry, and even makes her own on occasion, but never splurges on herself (she’ll never accept pricey presents from her kids, but if I won it, she’d have to keep it! And there would be no guilt!).
Anyways, she totally deserves it – she’s put up with my antics for 24 years.
I deserve this necklace because although I would like to say I am fashion forward individual with my clothes, I am a terrible accessorisor! I am starting a new job and I need this necklace because it is awesome and I want no one to know I was anything but chic and trendy with my choice of jewelry!
I deserve this necklace for making it through midterms! haha
Because it would look great with my new dress.
I deserve this because it’s worth more than my entire closet, but it will still fit in.
Let’s see…I deserve this necklace because I am currently going through About.com’s prep program and I am almost done!! On top of all of this my husband is out of town and I have a sick 3 year old. Ahhhhhhhh!!!!! Can you tell I’m a wee bit stressed?
This necklace would be a nice reward for all of my hard work and well, it would just look great around my neck.
Because I haven’t been able to “treat” myself to anything in a long time!
That necklace would look great around my neck!!! Give it to meeeeee
:)
I deserve to win b/c I would actually spread the love and give this to my mother-in-law who would LOVE it. So pretty!
I deserve it because my kids have broken a lot of my necklaces.
I deserve this because I never buy myself jewelry. Being a stay at home mom of seven with one income means the budget is tight.
I deserve the necklace because it would hopefully attract some of the attention away from my huge U-shaped cancer scar on my neck. Maybe people would stare at the necklace more than my scar. Right?
Love this necklace. Too cute to pass up, i think i deserve it because it would be a great graduation present for me and a late b-day present since I’m still waiting on my parents’ from Sep. Please =)
OH!! I would do ANYTHING to win this!! Please oh please pick me – I promise to first of all blog the HELL out of it, out of winning and out of this gorgeous site. Also, I deserve it because I never ever win ANYTHING! And because I live on the other side of the world right now, in boring old Jordan, where a necklace like this is impossible to find at an affordable price. I have an address in the US this necklace can be sent to, and then a friend will send it to me in Jordan, and I’ll do a happy dance and be eternally grateful and oh I BEG you to pick me!!! Just so you know, if I win this, it will not only make my day or week. IT WILL MAKE MY ENTIRE YEAR!!!
I deserve it because…well, I’m not sure I can say I really deserve it per se. It is beautiful; I would love it and care for it and take it on outings. I would give it baths and a dry place to sleep. I would polish it, allow it to be admired and occasionally let a needy friend borrow it, provided they promise to treat it with love and respect, and, of course, the necklace is willing to go out with said friend.
I am battling frumpyness. My clothes don’t make me look frumpy. If anything, I make the clothes look frumpy. I need some zesty accessories!
I’m deserve it because I’m a working mom with 3 children, even when I’m at home I have to do everything,I can’t affort other help. my whole salary go in the house, there is no money to spoil myself.
I would love this necklace. I haven’t worn a necklace in at least 3 years (not even on my wedding day) because I honestly don’t know how to wear necklaces. One as gorgeous as this one would be the best excuse to embrace this trend again. Thanks for the opportunity!
THIS NECKLACE HAS BEEN WHAT I HAVE BEEN DREAMING OF. I HAVE TWO JOBS FOR SHOPPING AND BILLS PURPOSES AND FROM ALL THE SAVINGS, I STILL CANT AFFORD TO PURCHASE SOMETHING AS GORGEOUS AS THIS. I WISH WIN THIS GLAMOROUS JEWEL SO I DONT HAVE TO LOOK FOR A THIRD JOB! THANKS!
I deserve this fabulous necklace because I promise to do it justice. A necklace like this one deserves to be rocked out paired with knee high boots, and a chic bohemian dress. This girl deserves a piece of jewelry that will gloat in a “look what I have and you don’t” type of way.
I deserve because I’ve been working super hard at losing weight and I deserve a beautiful reward just like this. Plus, it’s a beautiful necklace. Who wouldn’t want it?
I deserve this gorgeous necklace because I have the perfect event to wear it to, and I have worked my butt off to make this event happen. This necklace deserves to BE SEEN and if it’s given to me then it definitely will be!
)
I don’t deserve this necklace – my friend does. It’s a beautiful necklace and I would love it for myself, but I think she could use the pick-me-up more than I could! She has had to deal with medical issues, jerks at her workplace treating her like a lesser human, working 2 jobs and going to school, and a long-distance relationship. I know she’d never be able to get herself something so extravagant and doesn’t even have the time to keep up with blogs and contests like this like I do. Unfortunately, I couldn’t afford to give her something like this on my own, so winning this contest would allow me to give her something extra-special. Thanks for giving me the chance!
My mom deserves this necklace for her birthday. She works very hard all year long and i would love to show my appreciation with this BEAUTIFUL necklace!
The reasons that I have for wanting so badly to be the winner of this utterly fantastic necklace are numerous.
The only thing I’ve ever won in my 24 years of life was at a Church picnic, and it was a rather hideous faux wood salad bowl. Needless to say, winning this gorgeous ‘Trinket’ necklace from Twisted Silver would be a huge improvement over my last ‘prize.’
I have never been able to afford jewelry this expensive, and I might not ever be able to. Which is unfortunate, because my sense of style is pretty amazing (if I do say so myself) and I’m someone who would thoroughly enjoy the type of unique and high quality piece.
But there is someone else who also cannot afford such a piece, and would equally appreciate that. And that is my (almost) 18 year old, younger sister, Amy. She and I do not have a very good relationship. I have suffered clinical depression and anxiety for most of my life, and she has never been able to fully understand that – especially as we were growing up.
For medical reasons which include what I mentioned above, I am staying at my parents house – which is where Amy is finishing up her Senior Year of high school before she moves away to New York for college. I know it will be even harder for us to repair our sisterly bond when she’s several states away from me in Ohio. Right now we hardly talk.
But just yesterday there was a turn of events. She was nice to me. Me! Her much less-cool sister that she normally ignores. This is a huge breakthrough. I have already been desperately wanting to get her something amazing for her birthday on December 19th (which is exactly one month from the deadline of this contest – and no, I am not lying about her birthdate). But knowing about this contest, I just knew that I had to enter, not for myself to win the necklace, but for her. Because it would be the best gift ever.
My sister is a sensationally stylish girl and manages to rock lots of different looks, though my family doesn’t have a lot of funds. She adores fun and funky jewelry which is unique and fabulous. When I see this necklace, I know that she would love it, and she would keep it forever. And if she keeps it forever, she will always be able to remember the way I lobbied for her to win her something this special. We might be able to look to the necklace as an icon of the beginning of when we started to become friends.
My hope is that my sister’s and I relationship continues to bloom and get repaired in these last months we have together, regardless of whether or not I win the necklace…
But it wouldn’t hurt.
(Plus, it’s so shiny!)
I deserve to win this because I work hard every day and hardly have time for play. But this would make me so pretty while working!!!
I usually spend any extra money on the kids, so something special for me would be great!
Something that shines will brighten up any day!
I wanna win this cuz I never won anything..ever…Im not gonna give a crazy sob story cuz it would be a lie..I love this necklace though and don’t wear any jewelry (except my nose ring) that isn’t given to me…I find it to be bad luck for some reason…PLEASE GIVE IT TO ME!!!:-)
I strongly believe that I deserve to win this necklace because I am DESPERATE for an expensive necklace like this. If I owned it, it would literally be the only crazily-priced accessory in my wardrobe. I often shop at Aeropostale or American Eagle, and when I do, I pretty much hit the clearance sections.
This would just be SO gorgeous to a nice dinner out with friends, or to accent my formal wear when I have dinner with the company managers that I work for. Oh god, I’d beg, but it would hurt your brains.
Explaining why I deserve to win this isn’t too difficult of a task.
Ok I admit it I am too old fashioned for my age. I have taken to wearing clunky gold and diamond cocktail rings, and Bulova watches. The fashion poilice would slap me in handcuffs. I need some chic help and fast!
I think I deserve to win this necklace just because it’s beautiful, so I would like a chance, thanks
“I love it!”
I need this for the conferences I’m organizing and attending this winter.
I deserve to win this because I am a nurse who has to wear an ugly white uniform and I need something to jazz me up!
I LOVE YOU. and this necklace. xoxoxox.
