Working the Collar

One of my current style fixations of late is the elaborate collar accent. From dramatically loose cowl necklines to towering ones like this creation from Kanchan Panjabi.

The dual fabric creates the illusion that you’re wearing a richly lined top, a carefully orchestrated print effect that makes the whole look hugely interesting and not to mention, ultra stylish! The towering collar flap creates a majestic cocoon and/or frame of fabulous style for the star of the whole look which is your face, hopefully simultaneously sporting beautiful makeup.

I love the drama and the uniqueness of this blouse.

What about you? Any particular style fixation lately?
