Wreaths: Not Your Mother’s Veil

My wedding was a year ago. Don’t get me wrong, I really loved my mantilla veil and found it was the perfect accessory to complement my classic lace trumpet gown. But if I could do it all over again, I swear I’d take a fashion risk and don a handmade wreath from Etsy.

All of these whimsical crowns have a vintage, earthy feel to them and cost just $50. If you’re like me, you’ve marveled at the fact that anyone could charge $900 or more for what amounts to a single sheet of mesh, so these little beauties make for a fabulous recession alternative.

Kudos to “Witch Goose,” the fantastic designer behind the wreaths, who is making me consider buying one of these fantastic treats just to wear around the house.
