Hakone Kowakien Yunessun is a hot springs spa resort in Hakone, Japan. It’s more than just a spa though — it offers 25 different types of spa/water activities. They dub this resort a hot springs “amusement park.” Whatever you call it, they offer a lot of interesting soaking options, treatments and activities.

Their main spa is The God’s Aegean Spa. They also have an Ancient Roman Bath and Turkish Hamam Spa.

After that, things get interesting. The other elements include Rodeo Mountain, which consists of three water slides. Yunessun also has a Sake spa (yes, you soak in real Sake), a Green Tea Spa, Coffee Spa, Wine Spa and much more.
Admission to Yunessun Zone is 3,500 Yen for adults (which is about $35 USD). They also offer specific beauty, aesthetics and massage services. The resort also features a shopping mall, restaurants and much more.
If you are visiting Japan this summer, check out Yunessun. I’m not sure that I’d want to get in a coffee or chocolate spa, but sitting inside a large vat of Sake might be interesting!
