Michelle Harris, host and co-creator of Alive & Well TV, a modern organic living show that airs daily on the AmericanLife TV network, walked the EARTH red carpet event on Saturday, 4/18 styled by Colin Megaro, founder of Planet Style Concierge.
Colin used green accessories to play off of her BCBG Max Azria Green and Navy striped dress, which is on sale for $142.80 at Dillards.
Michelle carries a Harveys lemonade satchel ($104). Harvey’s seat belt bags are eco-friendly because they use factory-reject seatbelts and weave them into beautiful and functional hangbags. Perfect example of one man’s trash being another’s treasure!

So how can you dress green like Michelle? It can be difficult, but according to Colin, research is key! Many companies say they are using organic or recycled materials, but not everyone is honest. Use green blogs and web sites to find the best eco-friendly brands, and if you’re ever unsure about the materials used in a specific item, pick up the phone and call the company.
In the end, dressing green can be fashionable and fun, and you can feel good about the pieces you’re wearing.
