Kate Beckinsale attended the Museum of Contemporary Arts gala over the weekend and dressed the part of a woman checking out fine art. She wore a shiny green one-shoulder gown and carried her essentials in a tiny little black clutch.

A clutch is the perfect way to carry a bit of cash (or a credit card), some lip gloss, and your keys without having to lug around a huge purse. Last night Selena Gomez shone in well-coordinated accessories when she attended the TV Guide Hot List Party. She looked great in a simple, short white dress and set it off with a whole lot of delicate sparkling.

Hilary Swank was looking more like a Hollywood goddess than the lost pilot of her new film Amelia when she attended the 13th Annual Hollywood Awards Gala in Beverly Hills last night. She wore a black gown with gold detailing and sexy cut-outs on each side, looking stunning.

Half-hidden by her dress, Hilary wore some super hot black heels by Stuart Weitzman. Despite the late Fall season, in California it’s certainly possible to wear open-toe shoes.

Jessica Alba was seen checking out New York’s Fashion Week, and while she was at one of the shows, she carried a fantastic fringed clutch by Gerard Darel.

Apparently their designs are a staple with Jessica as she owns and checks out many of their pieces. I think the fringe addition on this little handbag is really cute and it adds a bit of fun to an otherwise very sleek and sophisticated look.

Tiffani hit up the NBC/ Universal 2009 TCA press tour All-Star Party with a vintage buttery gold colored clutch to offset her beautiful white strapless dress.

Meanwhile, Anne attended the red carpet premiere of Spread with a rectangular beaded clutch.
