Fergie joins the thigh-high club!

Fergie was in London this week and as she always does, she showed off some particularly killer style while walking to do a performance for BBC.

Not content to just wear a pair of regular chic boots, Fergie went for the super eye-catching look by wearing a pair of shiny thigh high boots with high heels. Between the height, the length, and the patent leather, you couldn’t miss them!

I don’t think I have the guts – or the long legs – to pull off wearing thigh high boots without making people think I’m a hooker but if you have been blessed with the gift of height as well as fit legs (and a lot of confidence would help too!) you can go all the way and have some fun with your footwear like Fergie.

Fergie wore a pair of boots by Stuart Weitzman which cost $798. Those particular boots have unfortunately sold out – thigh high is becoming a huge fashion trend so they’re flying out of the stores. You can duplicate the look though!

This pair of patent leather boots will not let you blend into the background – you WILL get noticed. They’re thigh high, have a platform, and the heels are 5″. They’re definitely not for the faint of heart, nor are they for the clumsy!

Hilary Swank’s “swanky” black heels

Hilary Swank was looking more like a Hollywood goddess than the lost pilot of her new film Amelia when she attended the 13th Annual Hollywood Awards Gala in Beverly Hills last night. She wore a black gown with gold detailing and sexy cut-outs on each side, looking stunning.

Half-hidden by her dress, Hilary wore some super hot black heels by Stuart Weitzman. Despite the late Fall season, in California it’s certainly possible to wear open-toe shoes.

Britney Spears loves Uggs

There’s no denying the fact that Britney Spears loves to wear Uggs. She was seen recently doing a bit of pet shopping – she bought a bird and all that comes with it – and despite wearing short shorts, she still pulled on her tried and true Uggs for her errands.

I’m going to be honest, I am not at all a fan of Uggs worn with skirts and shorts, but I do have to admit that they look comfortable. I think I’d like them better if they were paired with some jeans instead, but your mileage may vary. If you’re looking for some Britney footwear, I can help you out!

Eva Mendes in Stuart Weitzman wedge shoes

Eva Mendes looked like the epitome of summer when she arrived for her photocall at the Giffoni Film Festival in Italy. She wore a really pretty belted floral print maxi dress and looked poised without overdoing it.

Although Eva’s not particularly short anyway, she added some height to her look with Stuart Weitzman’s swamp ALEX espadrille wedge shoes.

If you’re wearing a maxi dress, it can be hard to pull off flats, especially if you’re not overly tall. At the same time, a maxi dress calls for something a bit more low-key than stiletto heels. These wedge shoes are the perfect in-between choice.

Animal prints never really go out of style. I love them, especially leopard prints, and I never get rid of them because I know that by the next year they’ll be in again. Celebrities know that animal prints are always hot too, as shown below by Claudia Schiffer, Kate Moss, and Khloe Kardashian.

However, animal prints don’t have to be limited to shirts or skirts or even bikinis. With Fall fashion starting to hit the ads already, how about gearing up for some great animal print footwear?
