Fergie’s big bold ring

Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas is never one to shy away from a bold fashion statement, and that can be seen very clearly as she poses here with Will.I.Am at the Vip Room in Paris.

Check out that ring! It’s almost like a big animal claw isn’t it? Between the size and the way it tapers into a really serious point, that’s the first thing I thought of when I saw it!

I don’t think I have the personality to wear something so big and daring myself – although I like big pendants sometimes, my rings tend to be more on the understated side. If you have a Fergie personality though, someone adventurous and unapologetic, you might be able to pull off a piece like this.

Fergie wore the Vita Cono Ring. It’s 24K plated gold but the main part of the ring is actually covered in smooth black leather. Pretty amazing!

Selena Gomez sparkles at Hot List party

Last night Selena Gomez shone in well-coordinated accessories when she attended the TV Guide Hot List Party. She looked great in a simple, short white dress and set it off with a whole lot of delicate sparkling.

Selena is apparently quite a Swarovski fan and she showed it by wearing their earrings, bangle, and carrying their clutch.

Sparkle like Selena …

Dangling from her ears, Selena wore the Swarovski Hazel earrings which you can purchase over here for $100.

Meanwhile, she drew attention to her wrists with a Hybrid bangle which is for sale here for $160.

Finally, creating a dazzling accessory trifecta, Selena carried her vital necessities in the Power Immage vintage clutch which is, unfortunately, not for sale on the site at this time.

Sofia Vassilieva’s pretty jewelry for Elle

Sofia Vassilieva, who recently co-starred in My Sister’s Keeper attended the “16th Annual Elle Women in Hollywood Tribute” in Beverly Hills this week, looking pretty as a picture in a cute little black and white dress – I really love the way the black makes the whole dress pop.

Speaking of pop though, women know that sometimes the accessories are even more important than the outfit itself. Even the nicest dress can look a little lackluster if it’s not teamed up with something that has just the right amount of sparkle.

Sofia took care of that matter by adding some incredible earrings and an eye-catching bracelet, both made by Swarovksi.

Hanging from Sofia’s ears were these Swarovski “Hot Black Diamond” earrings.

They use a variety of dark and light crystals to create a cascading chandelier effect, and they’re absolutely beautiful aren’t they? You can purchase them here for $170.

It’s a perfect match to the earrings, using the same shades of crystals in a similar gradation from light to dark. It can be seen here and it costs $320.

Kelly Osbourne’s Sparkly Bangle

Kelly Osbourne has been looking more and more polished lately compared to her younger, wilder punk years. She still has an edge but she’s grown into a rather prim and proper young lady.

Recently, Kelly was photographed at the 6th Annual Hollywood Style Awards, where she wore a simple white blouse and black above-the-knee skirt. She added a bit of sparkle to what would have otherwise been a fairly non-descript outfit. One thing that she wore to accessorize was a Swarovski bangle – it was certainly eye-catching!

Rihanna’s Gun Frame ring

Rihanna has shown that she appreciates the design of a gun by having one tattooed on her body. Lately she’s been sporting a less permanent symbol though – in the form of a ring.

In many current photos of her, Rihanna is wearing the Little Rooms’ Gun Frame ring, a chunky gold ring with a gun embossed on its face. It makes a statement, to be sure!

Selena Gomez wears Swarovski ring to Vogue

Selena Gomez looked absolutely stunning at the 7th Annual Teen Vogue Young Hollywood party on Friday night, wearing a black skirt, grey shirt, black 3/4 sleeve jacket, and booties.

What I loved though, was the smaller details such as the pretty necklace that she wore and the super chic ring on her finger. The ring that Selena chose comes from the Swarovski collection.

Vanessa Hudgens’ bold chunky necklace

Vanessa Hudgens was looking absolutely stunning at the premiere of her new film, Bandslam in a white strapless dress. She’s grown up right in front of us, going from the cute young girl in the High School Musical series to a gorgeous young woman now.

What really caught my eye though – you know, aside from her beautiful face! – was her bold, chunky necklace. It really stands out. A white dress is pretty but can blend into the background but the addition of this particular necklace added a punch of interest that might not have otherwise been there.

Fergie was seen leaving a studio the other day, wearing a hard-to-miss animal print outfit, slicked back hair, and trendy shades. When you’re wearing an outfit with this much going on, you really need to keep accessories simple.

Emerald Earrings – Who wore them better?

Back at the Oscars earlier this year, Angelina Jolie wore a spectacular pair of emerald drop earrings to add a jolt of bold color to her long, black strapless dress. The effect worked – everyone’s eyes were drawn straight to the green jewels hanging from her ears.

Meanwhile, the other night Nicky Hilton attended the L.A. premiere of Paris, Not France (her sister’s latest project). She wore an asymmetrical little black dress, complimented by similar, if not identical emerald drop earrings.

Who do you think wore them better? I actually think they both look great – they both wore a straightforward black dress so as to not clash with the earrings, they both pulled their hair off their face, and they both wore great makeup. They’re also both really beautiful women.

I’m slightly biased towards Angelina, being that she’s my favorite actress and a constant point of blogging for me. However, I definitely think that there’s no loser in this face-off, because they both looked fantastic.

“Respect the Earth” like Miley Cyrus!

Miley Cyrus has been seen frequently wearing a gold “dog tag” necklace on a gold chain – the tag on it says “Respect the Earth”. It’s a great, stylish way to make a comment on your feelings about the environment and your desire to be green!
