Rihanna broke the style mold once again when she stepped out for Fashion’s Week in a look that was startling and definitely 100% her.

She wore a black hooded mini-dress, black gloves, a spiky bracelet, studded sunglasses, and crystal-encrusted ankle boots.
This really isn’t my look, it’s a bit much with all the studs and whatnot, but the dress on its own is fabulous and manages to add a casual touch to an otherwise sleek dress.

One of my favorite wardrobe staples is the ever-popular, always-stylish Little Black Dress. There’s no such thing as being unable to find at least ONE little black dress that suits you, no matter your size, shape, or personal style.

Jennifer Love Hewitt knows that. She’s been seen in more than one style, but I love this great off-the-shoulders look that she’s got going on here. The dress is flirty and sexy without massive overkill. It’s something that you could wear that would be appreciated by your date but wouldn’t offend his mother either.

Leighton Meester never fails to stand out with sophisticated style and she continued the trend on the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards. Cut-out shapes are becoming a hot trend this season and Leighton confirmed it by showing up in a sleeveless, knee-length black dress with spectacular and provocative cut-outs along the shoulders near the neck-line. It’s sexy without being overly revealing.

The highly anticipated film Valentino: The Last Emperor premiered to a star studded audience on March 17 at the The Museum of Modern Art in NYC.
