Kate Beckinsale attended the Museum of Contemporary Arts gala over the weekend and dressed the part of a woman checking out fine art. She wore a shiny green one-shoulder gown and carried her essentials in a tiny little black clutch.

A clutch is the perfect way to carry a bit of cash (or a credit card), some lip gloss, and your keys without having to lug around a huge purse. Emmy is carrying the Gerard Darel ‘Besace Pom’ bag, a new tote in the line. It’s absolutely fabulous and I think that between the style of it and the size – you can fit all your necessities in there! – it just might be my current favorite celebrity tote!

Hilary Swank was looking more like a Hollywood goddess than the lost pilot of her new film Amelia when she attended the 13th Annual Hollywood Awards Gala in Beverly Hills last night. She wore a black gown with gold detailing and sexy cut-outs on each side, looking stunning.

Half-hidden by her dress, Hilary wore some super hot black heels by Stuart Weitzman. Despite the late Fall season, in California it’s certainly possible to wear open-toe shoes.

Before she left France this morning, Eva Longoria took the time to make a stop at the Gerard Darel Boutique in Paris to indulge in a bit of retail therapy.

I couldn’t tell you what she bought while she was there, but I can tell you that I love her brown and white cow-hide messenger bag! I’ve long joked that the purse department in every store is like the mothership calling me home so I couldn’t help but notice it!

Apparently their designs are a staple with Jessica as she owns and checks out many of their pieces. I think the fringe addition on this little handbag is really cute and it adds a bit of fun to an otherwise very sleek and sophisticated look.
