Rihanna keeps warm with a trapper’s hat

The chill of winter is in the air throughout parts of the Northern Hempisphere, and London can attest to that. Luckily, despite the cold, Rihanna kept her head toasty warm by wearing a furry (faux I hope!) trapper’s hat while she was visiting.

A trappers’s hat isn’t necessarily what you’d expect to see on a stylish woman like Rihanna but she makes it look good. Besides, those things are perfect for keeping your ears and forehead from feeling like they’re about to fall right off your body.

Rihanna has denim vest style

Although Rihanna is well-known for her music, she’s arguably even more famous for her wardrobe. Let’s be honest, everyone seems to keep an eye on her when she’s out just to see what she’s wearing.

The reason for that is that Rihanna is pretty much fearless in her fashion choices, wearing everything quasi-bondage style clothing to hoots that use brass knuckles for heels. Of course, your average person might not feel as free to take such huge style risks which is why it’s nice to sometimes see her in something the rest of us can wear too, like the denim vest pictured above.

Rihanna’s wearing the RVCA grateful acid wash vest which retails for about $176. However, if you’re looking for a nearly identical look you can try out the Divine Right of Denim Western Vest. It’s acid wash, but this isn’t the tacky acid wash some of us remember from the 80s and 90s. Referred to as “starburst wash” it creates a fabulous worn look and this particular vest also has some studs along the collar and pockets for an extra edge without going overboard.

Although the vest is currently not available online, you can purchase it at the Macy’s closest to you for $70.

Rihanna’s Gun Frame ring

Rihanna has shown that she appreciates the design of a gun by having one tattooed on her body. Lately she’s been sporting a less permanent symbol though – in the form of a ring.

In many current photos of her, Rihanna is wearing the Little Rooms’ Gun Frame ring, a chunky gold ring with a gun embossed on its face. It makes a statement, to be sure!

Rihanna’s hooded black dress

Rihanna broke the style mold once again when she stepped out for Fashion’s Week in a look that was startling and definitely 100% her.

She wore a black hooded mini-dress, black gloves, a spiky bracelet, studded sunglasses, and crystal-encrusted ankle boots.

This really isn’t my look, it’s a bit much with all the studs and whatnot, but the dress on its own is fabulous and manages to add a casual touch to an otherwise sleek dress.

If you want the full celebrity treatment, you can get the Alexander Wang black hooded goddess dress over here but it will cost you $625 which is a bit hefty for me!

On the other hand, you can get this great black hooded tunic for only $44.28 over here instead which is a lot more budget-friendly.

I like this dress a lot, it’s perfect for saying good-bye to summer and hello to the arrival of crisp, cool temperatures.
