Her makeup look was a bit of a trademark, it’s a look that she re-creates regularly, involving a nice blue shadow and some liner. It ends up being a very beautiful style that draws a lot of attention to her eyes but it’s not so over-the-top that you would feel ridiculous creating it on your own face.

As I said, it’s not too difficult to learn, but I really think that this is the single best makeup tutorial that I’ve seen when it comes to replicating Angelina’s look. The makeup artist is insanely good and has it down to a fine art. Check it out:

Doesn’t she look spectacular? With the addition of the similar hair style it’s not hard to tell which actress she’s copying!

When it comes to normal people, when we get off a plane, we often look tired and are showing the effects of the pressurized – and dry! – air. Meanwhile celebs look like they’ve been sitting beside their stylists the whole flight! How do they do it?

Get the post-flight celebrity look!

I found a great tutorial that a regular girl, someone just like you and me, put together on her three hour flight, demonstrating how you can do simple makeup to keep yourself looking fresh and pulled together despite being on a plane for hours on end. This is something you can do in the comfort of your own seat, as long as you don’t have an aversion to doing makeup out where people can see you.

I especially loved one of her first tips, to use a big fluffy brush to blend in your concealer. I’ve always used my ring finger to blend concealer in (ring fingers have the least amount of pressure so it’s gentle around your eyes!) but it doesn’t always blend in that well. When the girl in this makeup tutorial did it with the brush it looked so natural and seamless. I’m definitely going to try it!

If you’re travelling, a few other tips include:

1. Wear clothing that is loose and comfortable, and made from materials that don’t wrinkle easily. In other words, this isn’t the time to wear that silk dress you love!
2. Drink up! Water, I mean. While it’s nice to have a cocktail, the air in a plane is dehydrating and alcohol or caffeine will only add to that. Water will keep you hydrated and cut down on the dry skin look.
3. Wear comfortable shoes that aren’t constrictive. Swollen feet are not only an unattractive look, it can be dangerous on a plane!

>li>If you wear contact lenses like I do, bring a bottle of saline solution or eye drops made especially for contacts. If the air in the plane starts to irritate your lenses, the drops will keep you from getting the horrors of bloodshot eyes. In fact, eye drops would benefit anyone for the same reason, just follow the directions and don’t over-use them!

Of course, if all else fails, get yourself a pair of sunglasses, preferably the currently trendy big, round shades that celebs wear. Not only do they keep all the flashes from bothering celeb eyes when they’re being photographed, they can hide tired post-flight eyes if you don’t have the time or energy to do up your makeup!

5. Claire Danes – Claire is often under the radar. You don’t hear too much about her when she’s not currently promoting a film, living quietly. But when you see her, it’s hard to miss her. 3. Vanessa Hudgens – Vanessa is very young still, but she’s got a great start when it comes to being a classic Hollywood beauty. Between her long dark waves and the gowns she chooses, she always looks picture perfect. She may have made some mistakes in life (those naked photos will haunt her forever, I fear), but she more than makes up for it on the red carpet and in the end people will remember her more for what she did wear than what she didn’t.

2. Katie Holmes – Here’s the interesting thing about Katie: I don’t always like what she wears. Honestly, I sometimes think she wears very strange things (though I love that dress in the picture above!). But when it comes to Katie, it still works as far as style is concerned because she wears the things that she likes, doesn’t attempt to wear something just for the shock value, and does her own thing. In that sense she almost reminds me of Diane Keaton who would show up wearing suits when everyone else was in a gown. She marches to her own style drum!

1. Angelina Jolie – I may be biased but to me Angelina is the epitome of old school Hollywood beauty. She has the long hair, the bewitching smile, the bedroom eyes, and every dress she wears ends up being spectacular on her. Even my least favorite of her dresses have still looked incredible on her in the end. She could wear a paper bag and still look stunning. That’s because she wears the clothes – the clothes never, EVER wear her. Really though, you don’t need to look exactly like Angelina to look as good as she does. The reason she always looks so perfect in front of the cameras is because of the self-confidence she has, and that’s the staple of every iconic Hollywood bombshell in the history of Tinseltown.

The best thing about Jenn’s look is that it’s very easy to re-create. I personally love a dramatic, smoky eye but if you don’t do it right (and for a long time I didn’t!) it can end up looking like you’re taking style tips from a raccoon. With such a natural look, it’s quite simple to mimic Jennifer’s technique.

This video is perfect because it’s not too long, doesn’t involve too many different steps, and it also shows you suggestions for the colors you’ll need and which type of applicator brushes to use.

When Kim attends an event or a party, she often wears heavy, smoky eye makeup, while sticking with something more neutral on the lips, adding a bit of shiny gloss for interest. Not only can you purchase Twilight-inspired make-up, they even created two distinct lines in keeping with the story line. For a premium price you can buy make-up from the Luna Twilight line which was inspired by all the good in the Cullen vampires.

On the other hand, you can also get the less pricey Volturi Twilight line, complete with the Volturi logo as seen on the pink lip gloss above. The thought of bubblegum pink being associated with the Volturi is a little funny to me – can you imagine a character like Jane of the Volturi skulking around Italy in that?

I would have thought it would make more sense to create a Volturi line that has a lot of dark, rich colors while saving the lighter everyday make-up shades for the Luna Twilight line, but regardless the whole thing is a whole lot of fun.

It may be borderline creepy to buy make-up inspired by a vampire love story but it’s also brilliant and will probably fly off the shelves as fast as fans can whip out their wallets!

One thing I’ve noticed about Megan is that while she remains low-key when she’s out on the street running errands, her makeup is absolutely flawless on the red carpet.

One of my favorite things to do when I get bored of my own make-up is to hit up YouTube for some make-up tutorials. It’s amazing how easy some of the celebrity looks can be to re-create when you have a guideline beyond just a photo or two.

Get Megan’s standard pin-up make-up look …

In this video, she lists some specific colors but it can get pricey to try to go out and buy certain colors by certain brands – I think i you just use a standard make-up pallet and just do your best to match the shades as closely as you can you should be fine and it’s more budget-friendly!

I’m actually considering trying something like this for my sister’s wedding. Let me know if you try this out too!
